Champagne may be a staple at any celebration but given todays brides are on a budget there are alternative or some cheaper brands we normally use.
A cheaper brand that we usually purchase is Korbel. It’s a nice cheaper alternative to say a Moet. It less than half the price and if you are having large numbers at your event this could be a good option.
Alternatives you can consider are listed below. They are just a festive and less pricey:
1. Prosecco – Some great choices are – Ombra Prosecco, Bisson Prosecco, Lamberti Prosecco
2. Cava – This is a Spanish wine and ranges from sweet to very dry. It is also crafted the same way as you would Champgne and its cork is unique in that you can identify it with a four pointed star. Some great selections are: German Gilabert Cava Rosado, Recaredo Cava Brut Nature and Juve Y Camps Brut Nature Reserva de la Familia 2005
3. American Sparkling Wine – Some of these are fermented in the same tanks as Champagne and Cava and they typically come from the same vineyards. Some good options Argyle 2007 Brut, Schramsber Blanc de Blancs and Mumm Napa Brut Prestige
